I personally did not like the idea of buying an ipod instead of an Android phone. Samsung’s voice quality is good and Galaxy Pop includes almost all the features of ipod.
Tons of games are available for Andoid OS, however due to low screen resolution Galaxy pop may not play all the games. So, according to me the options could be:
1. Increase your budget a bit and buy Galaxy Ace.
2. Wait for more price slashing in Androids.
3. Buy Galaxy POP and retain your old N81.

Th main problem is the front camera… as of now, none of the mid range Android comes with secondary or front camera…. I guess the cheapest android phone with front camera in India is Samsung Galaxy SL I9003 which comes for Rs. 19.5k…

Hi Sandeep… your friends are right. There are more than 1 lakh application for Android. Galaxy pop or fit are value for money budget android phones, the only downside of low screen resolution is that you won’t be able to play high end games. rest everything works fine. Other option could be Spice MI-310 or LG Optimus one.

Galaxy Fit has a bigger screen and a better camera than Optimus one so Video recording and viewing will be better on it. but since it has a lower screen resolution, LG Optimus one is better for Gaming.
There is also a news of LG Optimus one getting Android 2.3 Gingerbread update in couple of months…. so go for Optimus one

The only problem with galaxy pop and fit is resolution. LG optimums one is far better then pop . In low resolution mobiles it is hard to surf internet and view webpages

The battery of Samsung Galaxy Ace is weaker that Optimus one and even Galaxy 3… Other that that, Ace is good in all means.
To avoid battery shortage, you can consider buying an additional battery
Hi, had brought Galaxy Pop, but there are few issues like it is getting hanged frequently. There is no exit option in the browser so every time you have to go to packet data to close the data transfer.
Amit you should use a task killer app to close browser or other apps… Running too many apps may cause to hang the phone…
If your phone continues to hang even after using the task manager effectively… you should complain in the samsung forum and also let us know so that other users can take a note while buying this phone
no it is getting hanged with only one apps open as well… moreover the problem is more with the packet data(internet browser) it remain on till u switch off the packet data transfer in the setting which is not the way it should be.. the browser options should provide the exit option…

1.bb gives u poor hardware in its budget phones ..u get only 64k display..2 mp camera…and cheap build quality in 8520..
2. For using bb exclusive features lyk bb messenger push mail etc.. U need to take special bb plan..dat will cost u 300 to 400 rs. Per mnth on any operator..

The only problem is the front camera… No mid range android mobile front camera… Rest of the features are available in almost all Android phones.
Keep in mind that in Some Androids you have to purchase a paid upgrade for the office tool to enable editing word excel etc, so just cross check before u buy

I am also interested in buying Samsung Fit. Please help for following doubts :
1) How is battery life ? I make lots of calls every day.
2) Are capacitive buttons responsive ? i head the “back button” doesnt respond quickly.
3) Can Gingerbread Andorid Software 2.3 be updated in future on Fit ?
4) Does Fit have inbuilt Adobe reader for Pdf Files.
5) How good are pics in close mode and in night ?

Hi, i m unable to choose one among the 2 phones, Samsung wave 533 and Nokia X3 02.. what do u think is a better option..?? i do a lot of texting and listens to music a lot.. i m more inclined towards the phone which can give me better battery backup.. Many websites tells Samsung Wave 533 gives a talktime of 14 hours while Nokia X3 02 gives only 5 hrs of talktime.. is this true..?? Thanks a lot for replying.. my frnds say that Nokia is more reliable and when it comes to listening to music, samsung consumes more battery and the phone will end up with BATTERY LOW warnings in not less than 4 hours.. is it true..?? Your earlier reply was more like some statistical data which i already got in other websites.. if i m a frnd of yours, i want to know which phone you would suggest me to go for among Nokia X3 02 and Samsung Wave 533 keeping my requirements ( music, texting, calling ) in mind..

hi ashwini. i want to buy a dual sim (GSM+GSM) android phone preferably ver 2.2 (not less), 3G but not necessary. it should hav a decent (read powerful minimum of 600 Hz) processor, a minimum of 1000 mAh battery, Wi-fi, preferably a physical keyboard (not necessary so that i don’t have to compromise on other things), supports JAVA and multi touch, and a decent camera (not a very important requirement). i can’t decide and have been searching everywhere. in india, there options ae limited to mi-270(spice) or karbonn A-1. i don’t know about any other dual sim phones. Motorola Glam is too expensive. LG optimus pro c660 is yet to be released. in that case, i find it unable to make a decision. could you help me ? i’ll be ever thankful… expecting a reply.
