Renault has launched new executive sedan ‘Scala’ in the Indian market. The new car runs both petrol and diesel variants and the priced between Rs 6.99 lakh and Rs 9.57 lakh ex-showroom in Delhi.
“Scala will consolidate what Renault has brought to India. It will enter a very competitive segment. With the launch of this car, we are completing the first cycle of introducing five products in India,” Renault India Managing Director Marc Nassif told presspersons here.
The company has already unveils four models for India like hatchback Pulse, sedan Fluence, SUV Koleos and SUV Duster. The new model offers elegant styling, lots of space and powerful engines. The petrol car is offering a mileage of at 16.95kmpl and the diesel at 23 kmpl. Scala is powered by 5-speed manual transmission and Electric power steering. It has 80-85 per cent local content in parts.
